After School Programs

Home-Based Afternoon Services

BIA offers an after-school program for children who are over the age of 3 and are in need of a more intensive (1:1) program to address their social and behavioral challenges. Children receive 6-15 hours per week of after-school instruction in their home and/or community with an emphasis on the following areas of development:

• Communication & Interaction
• Functional Living Skills
• Safety
• Community Skills
• Recreation & Leisure

Programs are individualized and tailored to the individual needs of the child as well as the priority goals of the family. The Village Clubhouse (East Bay & San Francisco) & The Village CREW (Fresno & Visalia)

The Village Clubhouse/CREW is a theraputic after-school program for children, ages 5-12 (in the Bay Area) and ages 5-14 (in the Fresno Area), who have social and communication challenges. The Village Clubhouse/CREW offers elementary aged students the opportunity to participate in cooperative play and everyday activities within peer dyads and small groups. A limited number of spots will be available for siblings of participants. The Village Clubhouse program (East Bay only) is vendorized by the Regional Center of the East Bay and the Village CREW program is vendorized by the Central Valley Regional Center.•
